KAT Sliding Door Contact product is specially designed for Ford Tourneo Courier.

The most important point in � sliding side doors (sliding door) frequently used in commercial vehicles, is to to carry power to the electronic systems to be used. � These systems can be audio systems, central locking systems and opening-closing systems for electric windows etc. (varies according to vehicle equipment).

It is required to carry electricity to the systems on the door, whereas it is necessary to provide control when desired, by obtaining status information from these systems.�

As the requirement desired from the Sliding Door switch increases, the number of pins used in the switch that allow transmission increases as well.

This product, developed by KAT Mekatronik for FORD Otosan, has 4 pins and it is a part of the central locking system. It provides both power transmission to the locking system on the sliding door, and relays the signal that indicates full closing of the door to the control unit (ECU).

To improve the use and operating sensitivity of the door, the spring feature is specifically calculated and designed. Also, the product is designed to work under difficult conditions regarding its location of operation.
