Contact Switch

Contact Switch products are specially designed for VW group passenger vehicles.

In this day and age, switches are used to inform status (opened-closed information) of mechanically moving parts (doors, bonnet, tailgate, hand brake, etc.) of vehicles, or to activate or deactivate related systems according to their location information (interior lighting, cargo area lighting, etc.).

The status information formed in the ECU of the vehicle according to the information received from these switches, allow informing of the user with audio or visual warning messages shown on the front panel.�

This switch group manufactured by KAT Mekatronik, is widely used in VW range of vehicles for these purposes.
